Central Park Model Yacht Club Vintage Invitational

The Central Park Model Yacht Club (CPMYC) invites all skippers to bring their Vintage R/C sailboats to Conservatory Water in Central Park on April 21, 2018 for our CPMYC Vintage Invitational event. Set-up will begin inside Kerbs Boathouse next to the pond starting at 8:30 am; racing will begin at 10:00 and last until around 1:30 pm.
Those who’ve joined us in the past have had a great time. While the wind conditions at the pond are challenging, sailing in Central Park is pretty special. The venue is hard to beat especially in early spring, and folks strolling the Park always get a charge out of seeing our beautiful boats on the water.
Attached is a list and a map of parking garages that are within a few blocks of the pond. The closest one, which is on 72nd Street (# 1) is also the cheapest at around $25.00 for the day.
