For Sale: 1930s Vintage Marblehead

This is a 1930s Vintage Cheerio.  Cheerio is one of the better-known 50/800 Marblehead designs, and this Cheerio’s name is Swallow.

The Swallow has been restored by her owner.  She is 50 in long with a main mast that is 61 in off the deck.  Her overall height is 78 in, and she is 9 ½ in wide.

Swallow is complete and fully rigged as a free-sailing yacht; she is not radio-controlled. She also comes with a unique, ornate base that features a hand-carved swallow head on the front.

$1595 is being asked for Swallow.

She is currently “anchored” at the Forestwood Antique Mall, 5333 Forest Ln, Dallas, TX 75244, and is available for local pickup.  Delivery is also available in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  True to its design intentions, it fits perfectly in the back of a Chevrolet Suburban or similarly size vehicle for transport.
