For Sale: Italian Marblehead – SOLD
John Stoudt is reducing the size of his collection.
John is selling an Italian Marblehead (vintage sail number 197), (design name is Navarco), designed by Cesare Brusotti. The hull, fin, and bulb came to the US in 1965, brought here by a man building ESSO tankers in Italy. It was sold to the current owner at the Woods Hole Model Boat Show “as is”. The boat has a cedar-planked deck and hatch, accented with mahogany. The electronics board, fittings and rig were completed by the owner. The boat is complete with electronics, including a Spectrum 5e radio and receiver, and a travel stand. The sails are custom, made from Icarex, a high-performance material. There is one sheet of marked up plans that come with the boat.
She is a very competitive boat and has sailed in vintage nationals on multiple occasions.
John is asking $1,500.00. He can be contacted at jstoudt309@gmail.com or 610-316-8695.
The boat is located in Chester Springs, PA 19425
