Mission Statement and Supporting Pillars

The Mission of the US VMYG is to honor the early years of the sport of model yachting through the preservation, education, and promotion of older model yachts; the conversion of early free-sailed model yachts to radio-control (R/C); the development of more recent R/C model yachts from vintage designs; and embracing later vintage boat classes of interest.
