Art Lent built this Friendship Sloop from plans he found at the library that were for a full size Friendship Sloop. He scaled the plan down to a 36″ LOA hull, not counting the bow sprit. The hull is cedar stripped planked and fiberglass covered. He also built the sail rig and sails. After the first sail outing he added an additional inch draft to the keel to improve stability. It actually sails well. It is equipped with an 815 Hytec sail servo and a standard size servo for the rudder.

Art currently lives in Florida. He would ship the boat but he would offer an overnight stay to some one that would like to pick it up.

He is asking $400.
