For Sale: Chico II for Restoration (SOLD)
This boat has been sold and is no longer for sale.
Selling a 36-inch Chico II, built for me in the mid-1960s by my grandfather. I sailed it on the Conservatory Pond in Central Park for several years in the 1960s and 70’s, but it’s been in storage since then.
The condition is fair. The hull has no dents or dings. The rudder is intact and works. The lead keel weight has come loose. The deck is cracked and warped. I have a stand, hatch cover, mainsail, jib, and boom, but no mast. All of the original AJ Fisher deck and boom hardware is present, except for the turnbuckle screws for the shrouds, and I also have a little cache of spare parts and the original AJ Fisher blueprint. The mast hardware is missing along with the mast. This boat was never fitted for RC. Additional photos can be seen at http://siegel.org/boat.
Asking $300 plus shipping via UPS, or pick up in North Stamford, CT.
