The proper use of a spinnaker adds speed and steadiness to a model yacht when running before the wind, and may also be used on a broad reach.

We have two perpetual trophies, one for M-Class and one for the A-Class, which we call the Sterling Cup and the A Plaque respectively, which are raced for the entire season, commencing early in March and ending the last of October.
