This rare find was built by Alec Adair and sailed with the Montclair Model Yacht Club in New Jersey in the 1950’s. Sadly, the club folded about 1955 and this boat was given to the Verona Park Conservancy and subsequently on the Verona Park pond. It was then stored in the “back room” for 70 years until the conservancy donated it to the US Vintage Model Yacht Group earlier this year.
