    An excellent description of the process of building a model yacht using the plank-on-​frame method.
  3. Plank on Frame Workshop by Al Hubbard, 75-min video ($15.00)
    This was a video tape of his lecture at the Woods Hole Model Boat Show, May 1997.
  4. Building Madcap, A Vintage Marblehead Model Yacht by Ivor Walton, 38 pages, ($5.00)
    This is a good photographic sequence of the building of a vintage Marblehead.

  6. How to Build and Sail a Model Yacht: A Detroit School Boat Manual by Pozinni and Phillips, 88 pages, ​($10.00)
    The construction booklet written by the teachers in the Detroit Public Schools for the ​boats built in class by their students. It is an excellent resource for carving a hull.
