snap clip [R54]: A connector that joins to the “O” ring to connect the sheet lines together, one coming through the deck fairlead and the other coming from the jib or main boom.
These are very strong. Because of the way they are made they do not easily get snagged by the sheet lines. Select the size #5, which is rated at 99 lb and is more than adequate for use on model yachts.
