This was started in a class at WoodenBoat School and finished by John Stoudt. It is an adaptation of Daniels and Tucker’s Star Sharpie. This boat has sailed in vintage nationals and placed on numerous occasions. Registered sail number 97.
It is plank-on-frame construction with a mahogany plywood deck and custom brass hardware. The spares are specially made of laminated cedar over 1/8-inch plywood. There is a stand included. It sails well and is responsive in the water. It comes with a high torque sail servo and standard rudder servo. There is not a transmitter or receiver.
