John Alden designed the Malabar Schooner series starting in the early ‘20’s, and Malabar I was the first of several.
This handsome two masted replica was made by Hartman Fiberglass R/C and was originally purchased in 2000. It has been stored, untouched, since then and is now being offered to any craftsman who would like to build a sailing classic.
Included are the 48.5” fiberglass hull, the 17.5lb lead ballast, and the fiberglass rudder. The wooden stand is also included along with some photos of the original model.
Malabar I is being offered for $350 OBO.
The model is in Southeast Florida and is available for local pickup or can be shipped at the buyers expense.
