line [R32]: Used on model yachts for things such as sheets and topping lifts.

There is a wide variety of usable line for model yachts. Our work on model yachts and research have led us to the line that we are providing the links for. These lines are abrasion resistant with zero stretch, braided, and very durable. Make sure to select at least 100-lb rating.

They come in a variety of colors including white and a cream-colored (that looks very much like the early line). The texture of these lines is such that it helps prevent slippage through a bowsie. These lines are extremely strong and wear resistant. They should still be checked yearly for wear and replaced, if necessary, although we have found them to last for quite a while.

Be careful if you are buying a kite line. There are two types of kite line, a version that stretches and a version that does not stretch. You want a line that does not stretch.
