spreader [R56]: A horizontal rod or beam on a sailboat’s mast to support the shrouds and distribute the tension evenly along the mast.
There are spreaders available for one design model yachts, i.e., CR914, DF65, DF95, etc. There are few made specifically for vintage model yachts.
You can make a custom spreader very easily.
